Tooth Whitening
For a whiter and healthier smile.
Thanks to the countless celebrities we see every day showing off their gleaming smiles on TV and the internet the practice of tooth whitening is becoming ever more popular.
Once an expensive procedure available only to the rich it is now an accessible and affordable way for anyone to quickly, easily and comfortably transform a dull and lacklustre smile.
Unfortunately, overtime our teeth naturally discolour and darken. This staining is normally caused by the regular consumption of darker food and drink items including coffee, coca cola and dark berries. Other contributors include smoking, damage to the teeth and some long-term medications.
As stains build up on the inside surface of our teeth they can’t be removed with brushing alone. Teeth whitening systems remove the staining from the inside giving a fresher, healthier looking smile that you can be proud to show off.
Boutique Whitening
Boutique Whitening treatments are available at Rejuvadent will help remove this discolouration, making your teeth look lighter and brighter. As well as lightening the shade of your teeth it will also improve the condition of the tooth enamel- resulting in a smoother, shinier surface and often improving sensitivity.
This highly convenient treatment will be supplied to you for use in your own home.
A custom made tray will ensure consistent results in all teeth. You will need to wear this tray with the supplied bleach for just a few hours each day over the next couple of weeks, don’t worry if you miss a day as you can stop and start your treatment as you want to. Results can normally be seen within just a few days.

Is teeth whitening safe?
Yes provided it is done by a qualified dental health profession it is safe. It shouldn’t hurt although you may experience a little increased tooth sensitivity which will improve once you’ve finished treatment.
Does whitening work on all teeth?
Whitening does not work on teeth which have been filled, or on crowns and bridges. It is usually possible to remove stains from most real teeth- even those with root damage. Teeth with very bad staining (due to tetracycline or fluorosis) may not respond to treatment- or may require several treatments.
Will it last forever?
Teeth whitening isn’t permanent and will need to be repeated for best results. Effects can last anywhere from a few months up to three years and will vary depending on your personal circumstances and lifestyle.
